Frequently Asked Questions:

My child was at the same level last year - Why are they doing it again?

Due to the rich content and curriculum we teach, it is perfectly normal to remain at the same level program for one, two three (or even more) years to learn all the material and perfect each skill (before adding new skills). This is absolutely OK! Every dancer's journey is completely unique - your dancer may progress at a different rate as their friends or classmates.

What if my child wants to begin a style they have never done before?

Great! We encourage students to try other dance styles. They all vary so much, from technique, to music, to style, that your dancer may have a wide variety of classes they enjoy. Our staff can help with class leveling and placement as this may vary with each style.

What if I question my child's class placement?

It is important that you trust us to help make the correct decision for your dancer. Our teachers have years of experience and ensure that dancers are placed in the best possible class for their development level, ability and age. All leveling takes place in the fall during the first few weeks of classes. If you have specific leveling questions, you can request a written feedback form from the office.
